Verona Bike & Bites Tour


Taste your way through the backstreet bars of Verona, called “Osteria”, with this delicious food and wine bike tour. Follow your local guide to three different ‘osteria’ (wine bars) to discover where locals go to drink and mingle. At each stop, sample regional wines like Valpolicella, Amarone and Prosecco served alongside plates of the popular Veronese appetizers. Group size is limited to 12 to ensure an intimate experience.

What Yo Can Expect

This 3-hour tour provides a great introduction to the different tastes of Veronese cuisine and local lifestyle. Meet the local guide in the center of Verona and take your own bike, get comfortable in the saddle and on. The first stop is typical tavern and frequented mainly by local people in the district of San Zeno, take one of the typical aperitif nibbles and take a glass of Prosecco. Continue towards the city center to stop in another typical local Osteria, sink your teeth into some of the famous dumplings bar food dishes and take a good glass of red wine Valpolicella. After this step you will make a tour in the city center, cycling you will pass all the major historical sites, to reach the last stage. In this Osteria you will have the chance to sample another of the famous white wines of the Veronese wine area, as the Lugana and Custoza, but advise everyone not to miss the opportunity to taste the famous Spritz Veneto, just like a real local.
